3.2 million people reached. 126 billion CFA francs mobilised. 87 international NGOs brought together in a single report.
Behind these figures is what the international NGOs that are members of FONGIM achieved in Mali in 2025, across six sectors: health and nutrition, food security, education, protection, water, sanitation and hygiene, and shelter.
The 2025 NGO Achievements Report has been published. It is a project I am particularly proud of: I wrote it, designed the data visualisation and the layout, then presented it to government representatives, technical and financial partners and the heads of mission of FONGIM members.
But this report is not the work of one person.
It is first the result of teamwork within FONGIM: constant exchanges with my colleagues to frame the content, validate the messages and meet the deadlines. It is also the work of the focal points of the 87 organisations who took the time to collect, check and share their data. Without their rigour and trust, none of it could have been brought to life.
My takeaway: a figure only speaks when it is turned into a story. Transforming hundreds of contributions into a clear, readable and credible document is the heart of my work: making what matters visible, so that decision-makers can use it.
Thank you to the 87 organisations that shared their data, to the FONGIM team and to everyone who made this work possible.
